WASBE 2026 participated in the 79th edition of The Midwest Clinic, held in December 2025 in Chicago (USA), as part of its international promotion strategy. During the event, the congress booth presented the main themes of the Brazilian edition, reinforcing the inclusive character of WASBE 2026 and increasing the global visibility of Rio de Janeiro within the wind music community.

5th Funarte Band Symposium
Held from October 2 to 5, 2025, at the UFRJ School of Music, the 5th Funarte–UFRJ Band Symposium brought together musicians, conductors, and researchers under the theme “Music, Technology, and Pedagogical Processes.” As part of UFRJ’s Bands Project in partnership with Funarte, the event featured workshops, lectures, practical music sessions, and concerts focused on advancing education and artistic practice in the field of band music.

The III Colombian Band Conference ASODIBANDAS 2025, held in Bucaramanga, brings together musicians, educators, and students around the band music movement. It is a celebration of band traditions combined with innovation and the strengthening of Colombia’s cultural landscape.

Francisco Braga Band Festival 2025
Held from November 4 to 6 at CIASC, on Ilha do Governador, the Francisco Braga Band Festival brought together over 600 musicians in a free program of concerts, workshops, and lectures. Promoted by the Brazilian Navy in partnership with the UFRJ School of Music, the event honored maestro Francisco Braga and strengthened the connection between musical training, cultural exchange, and civilian–military cooperation.
